I think I’ve said this as much, but I’ve done a lot of crazy things and out there experiences in my life and on my healing journey. The idea of opening up to other men was frightening for me. I had this mindset, which I didn't realize until going through this group, that other men were competitors or enemies. It was so helpful and instructive for me to experience the full range of emotions with a group of other men, and I'm hoping to carry that willingness to be open forward in my life. We all are in need of deep healing, for a variety of reasons, and it was really powerful for me to see and experience the pain that others carry with them. It allowed me to focus less on my own pain and begin to see myself as worthy of healing.

Common questions about men’s groups

6 weeks consisting of 1 group per week on Wednesdays. Sessions are 2 hours from 6:00pm-8pm. There is a week-long break after the third meeting to give you further time to integrate the work.

Not a problem but the more you show up the more you get out of the group. Please note there will be no discounts for missed groups.

While I the therapist must remain confidential, the group will decide on what is okay to share and what is not.
The more you share, the more chances you have to work on issues in real time.
