Empowered Man
Series 2- An Upgraded Experience

Welcome back to Empowered Man, a supportive community of men dedicated to personal growth, mutual support, and authentic connection.

What does it mean to be a Man today? In the past, being a provider was our measure of acceptance and success. Today, we need to meet our mental/emotional needs within ourselves, our partner(s), and the world at large. How does one do that effectively when operating from old programming? Many of us fail to meet this emotional need, resulting in low confidence, shame-filled moments, and a feeling of no purpose. Being a man feels isolating and lonely because this lack of confidence keeps us behind closed doors, worried about how we will be perceived. What does it mean to try on this emotional garment? Will we be picked on, harassed, or bullied? There is an openness and acceptance today when men show up vulnerable. The new measure of strength is showing the edgy or vulnerable side(s) of ourselves while also holding our masculine frame.

How does one do this?

This group will be an entry point to help you learn what this looks and feels like. You will walk away with deep connection, increased awareness, and personal growth and development skills. Relationships will be more engaging, and life will feel more balanced. Walking out the door after 6-weeks, you will notice more preparedness and skills in meeting today's relational needs. Self-love will steadily increase with this knowledge and acceptance of who you are becoming.

Welcome to feeling Empowered!

Meet Your Guide

Robbie Watterson

I am a Mental Health Therapist and currently live in Black Hawk, CO among the beautiful rocky mountains with my wife and 2 little dogs and our newest cat companion. I moved to Colorado 5 years ago from TN to find a different way of life after experiencing auto-immune and heart issues. I didn’t know where life was leading me at the time but I trusted there was more out in the world for me to experience. I completed a master's degree in public health at a mental health clinic in Fort Collins. It turned out that upon finishing the program, I felt called to pursue mental health so I attended Naropa University in Boulder and graduated last year from the Transpersonal Wilderness Therapy Program. It was a very rich, alive, and tender experience overall and I feel it has helped me to step deeper into connection with myself, community, and nature. My passion involves the outdoors, heart-centered connection with my community, stepping into discomfort, and learning how to be a more loving, compassionate man. My goals in life both in career and as a therapist are to raise awareness, build connection, and empower others to trust/follow their internal compass.

Meet Jack

A story of a man who courageously became empowered

Once upon a time, in the bustling heart of the city, there lived a man named Jack. Like many men of his generation, Jack was taught from a young age that being a man meant providing for his family, shouldering burdens with stoicism, and never showing vulnerability.

For years, Jack wore the mask of strength and self-sufficiency, pushing down his emotions and denying his own needs. But behind closed doors, a different reality unfolded. Jack felt a gnawing sense of loneliness and isolation, unable to share his inner struggles with the world.

As time passed, Jack realized that the old ways of being a man no longer served him. In a world where connection and authenticity were prized above all else, he yearned for something more meaningful than the superficial facades of masculinity.

One day, Jack stumbled upon an invitation that would change his life forever – a men's group dedicated to exploring the depths of modern masculinity, embracing vulnerability, and fostering authentic connections.

With trepidation and hope stirring in his heart, Jack decided to take the plunge and join the group. Little did he know that this would mark the beginning of a transformative journey towards self-discovery and empowerment.

In the safe embrace of the men's group, Jack found a community of kindred spirits – men who, like him, were tired of hiding behind masks and yearned for genuine connection. Together, they embarked on a quest to redefine what it meant to be a man in the 21st century.

Through heartfelt conversations, shared experiences, and moments of vulnerability, Jack learned that true strength lay not in stoicism, but in the courage to show up authentically – flaws and all. He discovered that by embracing his own emotions and honoring his needs, he could forge deeper connections with others and with himself.

Week by week, Jack peeled back the layers of his conditioning, uncovering the truth of who he was beneath the armor of masculinity. He learned to navigate his relationships with greater empathy and understanding, and to approach life with a newfound sense of balance and purpose.

As the weeks passed, Jack felt the walls of loneliness crumble around him, replaced by a sense of belonging and acceptance. He realized that being a man meant embracing the full spectrum of human experience – the light and the shadow, the strength and the vulnerability.

And so, as Jack stepped out into the world after six weeks of introspection and growth, he felt a profound sense of empowerment coursing through his veins. Armed with newfound awareness and acceptance, he knew that he was ready to face the challenges of modern masculinity with courage and grace.

Welcome to feeling Empowered, Jack thought to himself with a smile. And with that, he set forth on a journey of self-discovery, knowing that he was no longer alone – for he had found brothers-in-arms who walked the path beside him.
